THE 2020 ART SEASON HAS COME TO A CLOSE
On October 31, 2020, the BCK Fine Arts Gallery @Montauk officially closed its premises at 87 South Euclid Ave. until Spring 2021. The gallery hosted four exhibitions in this shortened summer 2020 season:
LOCALES – Oil paintings of familiar East End Sites by Paton Miller and Janet Sawyer
AS I SEE IT – A collection of Seascapes and Landscapes oil paintings by Bruce Lieberman
REFLECTIONS – Recent Works of Ed Smith, An exhibition of Unique Bronze and Terracotta sculptures, along with drawings and monotypes
FATHERS and DAUGHTERS – Paintings by Albert and Elizabeth Kresch, accompanied by those of Leland and Temma Bell that spanned the 1940s to the present. Look for a review of this show by John Goodrich in ARTCRITICAL.
Thank you to our artists for sharing selections of their works with us; and, to our patrons for their support and many kind words. The gallery sincerely hopes that the 2021 season will be a longer one, without the restrictions of COVID 19.
While the gallery doors may be closed during the winter months, selections from these exhibitions will be available for sale, along with new shows, on the website – https://bckfineartsgalley.com.
Look for our winter season online exhibitions coming soon.
